Local Program to Share Important Cancer Information with Veterans

“Taking Care of America’s Heroes” program provides critical cancer care topics to local veterans

TROY, Mich., - Nov. 21, 2013 - 21st Century Oncology of Michigan, a division of Michigan Healthcare Professionals, is pleased to announce a healthcare talk dedicated to sharing critical cancer care topics with local military veterans. Called, “Taking Care of America’s Heroes,” the free discussion will take place on Wednesday, December 4, 2013 at 6:00 p.m. at the UnaSource Building on 4550 Investment Drive, Lower Level, Suite B100, Troy, MI.

Jeffrey D. Forman, M.D., Board Certified Radiation Oncologist with 21st Century Oncology of Michigan will be speaking about prostate health, advancements in prostate cancer treatment options, as well as information about how to navigate the VA system for non-VA care.

The lecture is free to the public, spouses are welcome and complementary refreshments will be served.

The lecture is part of a company-wide effort by 21st Century Oncology to provide valuable information about cancer care to military veterans in local communities around the U.S. Each “Taking Care of America’s Heroes” program will feature a speaker presenting important topics about cancer research and cancer care.
