First Annual Spring Cactus Cancer Conference Planned for March 28

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. – Feb. 19, 2015 – 21st Century C.A.R.E. will be hosting the First Annual Spring Cactus Cancer Conference for physicians on Saturday, March 28, 2015 at the JW Marriott Scottsdale Camelback Inn Resort & Spa, located at 5402 East Lincoln Drive, Scottsdale, Ariz. The event will give practicing physicians a review of the latest advances for the management of prostate cancer.

The conference seeks to educate physicians by describing current treatment options for prostate cancer, discussing clinical trials of current prostate cancer treatment options, and examining the benefits and limitations of current treatment options and selecting optimal treatment for prostate cancer patients.

This event will help share knowledge with fellow physicians about the novel treatment options for prostate cancer to continue providing the best possible care for patients.” said Steven Eric Finkelstein, MD, Chief Science Officer at 21st Century Oncology and a national leader in prostate cancer treatment who will serve as activity director for the event.

This Spring Cactus Cancer Conference has been planned and implemented, with accreditation through the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), through the joint providership of Carolinas HealthCare System/Charlotte AHEC and 21st Century C.A.R.E. The Carolinas HealthCare System/Charlotte AHEC designates this Live Activity for a maximum of 6.0 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s).

Conference attendees have the option of staying at the JW Marriott Scottsdale Camelback Inn Resort & Spa, and must reserve a room by February 27, 2015.

Registration for the event is $300 for physicians, or $150 for Allied Health practitioners and includes Saturday breakfast, lunch, refreshment breaks, tuition and Saturday evening reception.
